What do people need? They need peace of mind.
In January of 2001 I went to work with a Financial Services Company because I was interested in learning more about the Financial World. I immediately got my Insurance License, my Securities License, my Mortgage License and I joined the School of hard-knocks.
Over the years I got to really enjoy educating people on every facet of Risk management, Investment options and ideas like the “Rule Of 72.”
All these years later, I have found helping people understand Insurance, Investments, Annuities, Medicare and the importance of a Living Trust fit into my desire to help folks prepare for Retirement.
I have found a Certification with the prestigious American College of Financial Services called a Retirement Income Certified Professional, R.I.C.P. I embarked on the year long certification process and am enjoying it tremendously.
There are 3 major exams to complete and I just passed the 1st one, a 3 hour test! The 2nd one is in February and the 3rd one in May. The reason I point this out, is because I at one time had so many other “professionals” tell me to “just focus on one discipline.” “Just focus on investments” said one brokerage. Another said, “just focus on Medicare.” But I always felt like, that was just giving people an incomplete/partial picture of their financial road map.
So, now I’ve found a Certification that reaffirms my conviction that giving people a full & complete image of Retirement is right on target. I guess I was ahead of my time.
Actually, because of the fact that 11,000 people are turning 65 every day, many investment agencies are letting people know, they can now help clients with Medicare. How novel. Interesting isn’t it?
With all of this in mind, if You or anyone you know, would like to have a brief conversation on Your retirement plans, or lack thereof, please give me a call and we can look at all the things to consider when making these very important decisions. It’s almost like the pieces of a puzzle.
*I’d enjoy the opportunity to help You or someone you know!
